Ryan
Front-End Engineer · Design Systems · UI/UX
Ryan has a quiet attention to detail that shows in everything he builds. He shaped the visual language of this site, crafted each component from scratch, and made sure every interaction feels intentional. When he's not writing code he's usually out on a trail somewhere, chasing good light with a film camera.

Victor thinks in systems. He designed the architecture, wired up the content pipeline, and made sure everything scales gracefully under pressure. He brings the same patience to ambient music production as he does to debugging — unhurried, methodical, always finding the root cause.

Freya has a patient, unhurried eye for the natural world. She travels to its extremes — glaciers, rainforests, deserts, frozen fjords — and returns with images that feel like you were standing there. Every photograph in this gallery is hers: first-person, immersive, and as close to the real place as light allows.

These three didn't build this site — but they show up every day at nine and they don't leave until it's done. Aurora, Maria, and Emily are the people Eric works alongside from 9 to 5, and this website exists in a world they make possible.
Aurora
Knowledge Architect · Documentation · Institutional Memory
Aurora knows where everything lives. She's the team's institutional memory — the one who can trace a decision back three sprints, find the document nobody can remember naming, and summarise six months of context in two sentences. If something was once written down, Aurora has read it.

Project Manager · Sprint Planning · Team Coordination
Maria turns chaos into a sprint plan. She's the first one on the standup call, the last one to close the retro board, and somehow knows the status of every ticket before you've even opened Jira. Nothing slips through her net — and if it somehow does, she notices before you do.

Code Reviewer · Quality · Engineering Standards
Emily's PR comments read like a mix of code review, mentorship, and gentle reality check. She spots the edge case you didn't write a test for, leaves three comments about naming that are always right, and has the rare ability to make ‘this could be cleaner’ feel like encouragement. No PR ships without her blessing.
